Where Bible On This began

Bible On This began with a practical question: what can Scripture illuminate about the decisions, habits, relationships, setbacks, and responsibilities faced by founders, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and builders?

The project connects Scripture with lessons and quotations associated with business and cultural figures already represented in its content, including Warren Buffett, Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Jay-Z, John D. Rockefeller, Steve Jobs, Sara Blakely, Sam Walton, Mary Kay Ash, and others. The aim is not celebrity for its own sake. It is to create a point of reflection where lived experience and biblical wisdom can be considered together.

The existing publication

Bible On This: Business, Scripture & Great Founders brings that approach together in a book designed for reflection in daily work and leadership. The site also offers readers qualifying digital access without charge.

How the research led to The Way Version

Work on Bible On This opened a deeper line of inquiry into biblical language, historical translation, Hebrew and Greek vocabulary, the Semitic and Aramaic setting, manuscript traditions, lexicons, the Latin Vulgate, and the interpretive choices involved whenever a text moves between languages.

That research became The Way Version. It seeks to let readers encounter more of the historical and linguistic texture behind Scripture: Yeshua alongside the familiar English name Jesus, older personal and place names, Semitic context, and the broader meanings that can sit behind familiar religious vocabulary. For example, language traditionally rendered as “repent” can also invite the more active sense of turning or returning.

This work is not an argument that familiar Christian language has no value or that every traditional translation is wrong. “Jesus” remains meaningful to generations of readers. The project asks what additional context becomes visible when older names, linguistic possibilities, and translation history are allowed into the conversation.

The projects use AI-assisted tools to organize research, compare sources, identify linguistic questions, search historical material, and accelerate comparison. AI is a research aid, not a theological authority and not a substitute for human scholarship, editorial judgment, source verification, or accountable review.

The Way Partners LLC is a for-profit Wyoming limited liability company operating in Memphis, Tennessee, and Sheridan, Wyoming. The company researches, develops, publishes, and distributes Bible On This and The Way Version and is building a wider network of researchers, editors, language specialists, historians, and subject experts around the work.

The work emphasizes love, hope, joy, restoration, transformation, wisdom, grace, context, and curiosity. It offers room to explore interpretations that are less dependent on fear or shame without attacking churches, believers, or the traditions from which many readers come.
